Ensemble Programs and Lessons

The New Hampshire Independent School of Music offers various programs throughout the school year. Ensemble classes and The Children's Choir are offered in the Fall and Spring. Private lessons are available year-round.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered on piano, guitar, violin/fiddle, saxophone, and Jazz Piano (specifically). Beginner through advanced students. Lessons are $20 for 30 minutes, $30 for 45 minutes and $40 for 60 minutes.

Noelle Beaudin - Piano & Chamber Groups

Noelle attended the Boston Conservatory of Music majoring in composition and piano performance and is a member of the National Piano Guild and MTNA. Over the last fifteen years, she has taught piano privately, been the piano teacher at Sant Bani, New Hampton School, Tilton School, and was the choir director and organist for the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plymouth. She also regularly performs in the New England area. She is the founder and Program Director of the New Hampshire Independent School of Music and coaches the NHISOM Chamber Ensembles. She teaches piano for beginners through very advanced - all ages.

Siena Kaplan - Violin, Fiddle classes

Siena Kaplan specializes in teaching beginning players (young and old), as well as teaching fiddling techniques, styles and music. Siena began violin and viola at a young age as a classical musician in the Suzuki method. Since college she has focused on fiddle music, primarily in the Cape Breton tradition, with some experience in Irish and old time fiddling. Some of her fiddle teachers and mentors include Laura Cortese, Hanneke Cassel, and Kimberley Fraser.

Jeremy Morse - Guitar, Banjo

Jeremy is a music technology graduate of Plymouth State University. Originally from Pittsfield, New Hampshire, Jeremy picked up the guitar at an early age. Inspired by the Beatles and Neil Young, eventually Jeremy expanded his playing into blue and roots music, Afro-Cuban and other Latin styles, and jazz. Throughout his teens Jeremy studied with Joe Gattuso at Strings and Things music in Concord, David Tonkin at Concord Community Music School, and later David Rodenburg at NHTI. Jeremy currently studies with Jim Alba at Plymouth State University. Jeremy currently performs with the Lakes Region Big Band as well as various jazz and blues projects on the side.

Tom Robinson - Jazz Piano, Jazz Ensembles & Improvisation, Saxophone

Tom is adjunct instructor of jazz piano at Plymouth State University. He also teaches jazz piano, saxohpone and directs the jazz band for St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. He is a member of the CCMS Musicians of Wall Street, and the PSU faculty jazz quartet. He has a busy performance schedule as a soloist, sideman, and as part of a trio with drummer Tim Gilmore, and bassist John Hunter. The trio's recording Skylight features original music. Tom received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.


Our goal is to help musicians of all ages connect with each other. We offer ensemble classes through the year. Adult Chamber groups, Youth Chamber groups, Jazz ensembles, Fiddle/string groups, and The Children's Choir. Ensemble programs change throughout the year and are announced on our website.

Programs are offered in the Fall and Spring semesters. Semesters last 8 weeks and end with a performance.
