CENTER HARBOR - The New Hampshire Independent School of Music, a new
nonprofit music school serving the Lakes Region area, is introducing an Adult Community
Choir starting on March 27th, 2006.
The NHISOM Choir is a small community choir comprised of area adult singers.
This spring semester we will perform a variety of pieces in honor of community spirit
and helping our neighbors. In April and May, the choir will perform at various
events in the greater Meredith-Center Harbor-Moultonborough area.
NHISOM Community Choir meets at the Loonsong Music Center off
of Glidden Road in Moultonborough from 6:30-7:20pm every Monday for 8 weeks starting
on March 27th, 2006.
The choir is conducted by Audrey Drake, a seasoned voice instructor, chorale coach,
and member of the NH Master Chorale.
Prerequisites:
Be able to sing the C Major and F Major scales after being given the starting pitch.
Have some knowledge of reading music.
Prior choral experience preferred ... Yes high school choir counts!
