Bob Nieske mentored under Jimmy Giuffre as bassist and composer in Giuffre’s quartet for 12 years. His compositions are challenging, accessible and melodic and have been played around the world by the likes of Jimmy Giuffre, Matt Wilson and the Either Orchestra. He appears on recordings with Jimmy Giuffre, George Russell, Alan Dawson, Dave Grisman, Stephane Grappelli.
Phil Grenadier has appeared on 50 CD's, recording with such artists as Kenny Barron, Larry Goldings, Chris Potter, Jerry Bergonzi, Anthony Braxton, George Garzone, Mick Goodrick, Brad Shepik, Billy Kilson, John Hollenbeck, Gerald Cleaver, Bob Moses, Drew Gress, Larry Grenadier, Ira Coleman, etc. In 2007 he toured internationally with John Scofield alongside bassist Steve Swallow.
Jon Hazilla has performed and or recorded with, Jo Anne Brackeen, James Williams, John Hicks, Billy Taylor Aaron Goldberg Ray Drummond, Ron Carter, George Garzone, Benny Golson Billy Pierce, Steve Grossman, Larry Coryell, Kenny Wheeler, Sheila Jordan, Ran Blake and Max Roach. He continues to perform in countless global festivals from The Azores, to Costa Rica, Warsaw, Rome, Nice and Kyoto to name a few.
Randy Roos has been the guitarist for Orchestra Luna and Mistral with Mike Stern and Alyrio Lima (Weather Report) to Jerry Leake’s Cubist band and pure free playing. He is a guitar icon and legend.

Fred Haas has performed with the likes of Oscar Peterson, Ray Charles, Pat Metheny, Clark Terry, Milt Jackson, Joe Morello, Don Cherry, Karrin Allyson, Matt Wilson, Gene Bertoncini, John Proulx and many others. Jazz guitarist Pat Metheny calls Fred Haas "a totally world-class saxophone player." Directions to Mead Base
Mead Base is located at the end of Diamond Ledge Road in Sandwich, NH 03227. From Route 113 in Center Sandwich, follow Grove street past the Federated Church, which will then turn into Diamond Ledge Road. Diamond Ledge becomes a dirt road, bear right when you see Sandwich Notch road and follow Diamond Ledge to the end. Mead Base will be the last building and parking lot area on the road!
